Achieve Workplace Health & Corporate Wellness
. . . with Sound Wellness®
It it well understood that the cost to replace an employee is similar to their annual pay. Between the cost of recruiting, training, inefficiency as they are learning their new role, and the cost of scrap and waste they create, for some, the cost could be much higher.
And while management is the most cited reason for someone leaving, the root of that is that the employee often doesn’t have the necessary tools to deal with the stress of the position, and the demands that are constantly increasing.
But, it doesn’t have to be that way. Since the dawn of mankind, sound and music has been integral to people’s lives. Yet over the past century, when we have needed it most, this ancient healing tool has been largely forgotten. Today, modern science is rediscovering just how powerful sound and music really is, and how it can be applied to the workforce to improve productivity, to improve focus and concentration, to reduce stress, and reduce the illness that comes from it, and to bring calm to our day in the midst of our busy lives.
We all respond differently to music and sound. What is relaxing to one person may make another person anxious. We often use music intuitively to change our mood, however, it does much more than that. Science has proven that music creates specific physiological responses in the body and mind.

You are constantly bombarded by sounds. Some of them are downright annoying – traffic, the wrong radio station blaring from the person next to you, a car alarm in the middle of the night. Not many people know how to use sound beneficially. Our Sound Wellness program uses the science of sound and experiential learning to empower people with tools to improve their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
The core curriculum for the Sound Wellness program was sparked by a request from the Integrative Health Institute at Mount Royal University. Sharon was asked to be one of the interventions in a study on stress. She expanded the material when participants so enthusiastically expressed how valuable this experience was to them.
The Sound Wellness™ Program consists of live workshops or presentations and a Self Paced Program for those who can’t get away for a full program, or who simply wish to review the material when their schedule permits.
We’ll customize our program to suit your specific needs or curiosity.
You can choose our full 3-day program, a one-day (8 hour) session to experience a sampling of all our program has to offer. Or, you can select from our half-day modules that provide a deeper experience in using a specific technique.
We provide a wide variety of experience because people respond to music and sound differently. These programs are most effective with between 12 to 30 participants. Please call us to discuss how to best serve larger groups.
Self Paced Program
Our Self Paced Program captures as much of the essence of the live program in video format. Your staff can view each module when and where they have time to do so.
You can purchase the program as a one-time-purchase granting immediate access to the entire program, or as a monthly program, where content is metered at an achievable pace.
Because response to music and sound is individual, we provide many different experiences that people can use to arrive at the same benefits.
We customize our program and materials to meet the needs of individuals and organizations. Please call us for additional information and free consultation.
