Students will learn how to install a video editing program, setup and use an interface. Learn techniques for recording video and monitoring quality.

In this module we explore the main elements of how video is recorded.

MODULEĀ 2

Cameras

When it comes to recording video and using cameras there are many choices available. Learn the uses for each type of device and what choice is best for your needs.

  • Types of cameras.
  • How to set up and use a camera.
  • How to monitor its signal.

MODULEĀ 3

Video Interfaces and Lighting

Depending on what type of video you want to create, other devices, or hardware, may be needed. In this module we will be exploring a few of these video interfaces ā€“ what they do, how they work, and if it would support your own projects. We will also explore lighting, what you need and how to set them up.

MODULEĀ 4

Basic Video Editing

You will downloading and using a free editing program on your own computer or device for this course. This is the program you will use to edit the video recording that you create during this course.

  • Exporting and sharing
