Program Modules

Important Disclaimer: The curriculum listed below is typical of our workshops. However, the material covered varies with the dynamics of each group attending. In some cases, not all material is covered, and in others, we may go deeper into the content.

Module 1

Before You Step on Stage

It's all about preparation.

You will never be successful on stage without preparing for success. 

In this module, you will learn about:

• Booking your space. We'll look at the size of room, catering, and working with your venue hosts.
• Setting up the room, and the 5 standard room layouts.
• Using an audio system. And yes, you need one. We'll cover the components of the system, and how to connect them.
• Preparing what you are going to say. We'll also look at options for presenting (whiteboard / flip chart / powerpoint / posters).

MODULE 3

Presentation Style and Practice

This module covers your presentation style. We'll explore and practice:

• Icebreakers (virtual and in-person).
• In-person presentation style/energize yourself to be ‘on-stage’.
• Seeding.
• Additional tips for on-line presentation.
• Q & A.

MODULE 4

Facilitating Online Presentations

We are increasingly living in an online world when it comes to learning. This module covers principles of delivering and managing online facilitation.
