Before you begin . . .

Sound is an incredibly powerful modality. It has been used for thousands of years to support healing, but sound doesn't discern. As powerful as it is in supporting health and well-being, it is just as capable of causing harm. Using tools like the Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, tuning forks, tingshas, and others is not a random experience. It is not driven by intuition, but rather by knowledge of the sounds and how they impact our audience. 

One of our practitioners described her experience attending a sound bath offered by an untrained practitioner as listening to the practitioner "banging on pots and pans with a wooden spoon". Experiences like that can seriously affect the participants, stressing their nervous systems, and causing them great harm. It was this recollection that inspired the creation of this course. 

Sharon has been a musician for over 50 years, with a Master's degree in performance. And she has been offering sound baths for nearly 20 years. Her experience and knowledge is wound tightly into this course.

Before diving into advanced sound bath techniques, it’s essential to establish a strong foundation in the principles, science, and practice of sound healing. This pre-requisite course provides an in-depth introduction to the core concepts of sound healing, ensuring that practitioners develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to progress to more advanced techniques. 

It is important to recognize that knowledge is not enough. It takes practice, and feedback and more practice.

And this takes work, but there is a huge reward. So many people need the support and healing that a well orchestrated sound bath offers, that sound baths are in high demand. They can be a significant addition to your business.

In this Foundation program, you will learn  how to:

This course is a foundation, on which the Techniques for Sound Bath Practitioners builds. The content is taken from our certification courses to offer you the basic understanding. It will not teach you, or certify you to become a sound healer.
